Partners in fashion Béatrice Ferrant and Mario Lefranc, aka Lefranc.Ferrant have come up with a stunning collection for 2007. Aided by Israeli designer Albert Elbaz, artistic director at Lanvin, their collection is nothing if not feminine: 'Women should feel like women in their clothes, and they should be elegant,' as Béatrice says.
As you might expect, their style is very Parisian (they've collaborated with Yves Saint Laurent, Lanvin and Balenciaga) Lefranc.Ferrant are very into volume couture: décolleté and hips on show, and voluptuous cuts around the bottom with straight but structured shoulders to give the look balance.
We love their very light lace and gauze creations and their floaty skirts.
Bursting with talent, these designers are definitely ones to watch. Their designs are different yet chic: exactly what we like.
