It's not easy for Pascal Miller to innovate at Carven when the financier seems to carry just as much weight in the creations. Disguising the models in glasses to promote the brand's new optical licence is a strange idea as far as haute couture goes: a bit too 'prêt-à-porter' for our tastes.
He has made efforts to keep clients loyal whilst rejuvenating the brand. He presents some refined designs, thanks to the talent and know-how of the people in his atelier, but there's regrettably an absence of fantasy in the range of colours.
