With a jungle-like podium, Antonio Marras wanted to add a touch of Fitzcarraldo, a film by Werner Herzog, into his fashion. Amongst plants and coloured ribbons, video screens display wild animals and birds with extraordinary feathers. The collection opens with violent and sharp colours, elaborated with foliage. Luxurious sequins are displayed on fuchsia, yellow and violet items. After the abundance of floral fantasy, contrasts and embroideries make room for big dresses and then black makes an appearance on clothing that's closer to the body. Less pompous than usual, Antonio Marras cultivates the vegetable codes initiated by Kenzo Takada himself.
