Talented Lebonese thirty-something Robert Abi Nader showed his sophisticated, draped silk dresses in Paris, once again. After cutting his teeth at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, he opened his own fashion house in Beruit in 1985. His dresses fast became favourites with the Middle Eastern glitterati and since 1997 Westerners have been falling over themselves for his Eastern-inspired designs at his shows in Paris. A commercial collection, which will undoubtedly sell like hot cakes.
