The hottest ticket for Paris Fashion Week, was once again John Galliano's show for Dior.
In his usual flamboyant style, he transformed long, lean supermodels with exaggerated shapes in bright colours. Following the punks and Egyptians of previous shows, fashion's man of the moment gave us his vision of the monarchy, complete with a Queen of England with giant jewellery and a Marie-Antoinette, with cherub motifs.
Dior's bride ended the show, with huge flounces
of taffeta and silk: fashion history gone mad,
in contemorary style.
