For their sexy Winter 04/05 show, design duo Michel Dupré & Christelle Santabarbara drew on the casino for inspiration.
However, their efforts were sadly missed by
much of the fashion press who stayed at the
Scherrer show to catch the late arrival of a
certain Mr. Gerard Depardieu. Those who did
make it were treated to highly original patchwork
outfits, with lace panels and seqinned trains.
The edgy collection played with transparency
(coloured opaque tights by DIM) and trompe l'œil
(beautiful sequinned monatges and embroidery
silks). A very Californian show, from a highly
creative French partnership. |
