For his second Haute Couture collection for Torrente, young designer Julien Fournié focused his talent for a show full of creative impact.
Art Nouveau inspiration was evident in flower,
butterfly and dragonfly motifs and retro accessories,
along with fur trim and plastrons.
Torrente presented a confident vision of womanhood,
long and lean, with a neck elongated by high
collars, a nipped-in waist and leg-of-mutton
sleeves. A grandiose vision of the seventeenth
century for the new millennium.
