For Winter 04/05, Georges Chakra drew heavily on eastern influences, especially his native Libya.
Sensual and provocative, the collection was full of sequins and feathers, beloved of the world of Haute Couture.
For daytime, tailored jackets went with knee-length dresses and fur boleros, while his evening divas sashayed down the runway in sheath dresses elaborately embroidered with precious stones.
