Lacoste celebrates its 75th anniversary

Meet tomorrow's catwalk queens...

After the contrast of red and black, the purity of white and shades of blue, for Franck Sorbier, Winter 2005 was brown.
Entitled 'Requiem', this was a melancholy yet sumptuous collection, full of beautifully finished fabrics, coloured and painted by hand.
Colours ranged from terrcotta to yellow ochre and beige, via woody browns to Van Dyck dark.
This show demonstrated more than any, that Couture is a dying art which must be protected.
