Now officially part of the Parisian Chamber of Couture, Livia, Yassem and André, the three young designer behind On Aura Tout Vu are going from strength to strength. The fashion-college shows of their early career have developed into highly finished collections of outfits which fall distinctly into the 'ballgown' category. The Preciosity collection was inspired by jewels and precious stones, in textures not often seen on the couture catwalks - metallised fabrics, pleats, creases and balloon shapes. The fashion pack fell into two camps: those that found it a little too kitsch for couture and those that thought the collection to be the height of Eastern European refinement, but whichever side of the fence they chose, everyone agreed it was a poetic and surreal collection. We can't wait for next season.
