Kenzo shows have risen to the dizzy heights of a Paris Fashion Week must-see since Antonio Marras took over. Nautical blue and white were given a dose of his own special medicine, as stripes took over. Spots, checks and flowers followed in a nod to French retro chic, in a hot Provinçal summer. A thirties film soundtrack took us to the East next, as the Kenzo woman went by turns androgynous and Victorian heroine. Flowing muslin dresses in a patchwork of red and green came next, before a grand final parade of well-cut pieces which look set to fly off the rails.
