Vincent Darré made up for lost time at Ungaro, after straying too far from established trends last season, with a collection which some called too avant-garde. This time though, the designer managed to pinpoint the Ungaro woman with a series of outfits which featured strict cutting and intelligent use of froufrous and flounces. Neutrals and pastel shades of yellow and pink on beautifully-finished clothes made for a sexy look, which was just a touch retro. Buyesr took special notice of extra-fine leather, which we took for silk.
