Despite a promising, neon-lit catwalk and pumping soundtrack, Karl Lagerfeld didn't quite match his winter show. In a palette based on black and white, with navy and grey accents, the white shirt was star of the show, complete with trailing ribbons. Casually elegant skirts, shorts and culottes with androgynous styling, unfortunately left little room for those with less than perfect figures. The Lagerfeld woman has the perfect work-to-bar wardrobe however, with natty little pieces in silk and muslin which should out a smile on the face of his financial partner, Tommy Hilfiger. A chic collection for jet-setting clients who expect a certain level of elegance.
