Dior puts the show into fashion show, with celebrity faces in the audience and the man himself, John Galliano, taking to the catwalk to close his own collection. This season's offerings looked almost tame in comparison to what we have come to expect from the one of the most talented designers of his generation.
Seaside outfits and sundresses, in stripes and prints were uplifting, while flippy dresses and minis in subdued tones were romantic. Irreverent eveningwear was devilishly sexy, in military silk, worn with plenty of baubles and violet hats. For logo fans, the latest Dior messages are: " Dior not war " and " Dior in peace ".
