In a departure form his usual riot of colour and texture, Lacroix opened the show with a simple white dress.
The rest of the collection was a well-balanced combination of soft, clear colour and whimsical prints, with motifs taken from Toile de Jouy and Gaudi designs with a Pronvencal theme. Unusually, man and women walked the catwalk together, with the boys sporting striped trousers and printed jackets.
