Alber Elbaz showed a collection of elegant pieces, with a touch of madness for Lanvin. The Israeli American designer went for skirts and dresses rather than trousers, paired with belted blouses and jackets. Bouffant shapes contrasted with figure-hugging pleats and drapes, but the waist was the star of the show. A beautifully light collection, which played with the body for some surprising proportions, surely destined for huge success.
