Taking his inspiration from traditional make-up Takizawa opened the show with classic cuts and prints, sprinkled with red pigment and black beauty spots.
The rest of the collection was different, with Miyake's signature pleats, drapes, stretch lace and huge flowers, worn with layered silk skirts in a Polynesian dancer look. Headwear styled like traditional Vietnamese hats and a flower dress made out of raffia, finished another original, graphic show from Miyake.
