Adele reveals exactly what she said to Chris Brown at the Grammys
Chris Brown was the only person at the Grammys who refused to stand and applaud when Frank Ocean picked up the prize for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
It wasn’t just that the 23-year-old had lost out to Frank in the Grammy category, but the pair had clearly still not made up following their violent altercation two weeks ago outside a recording studio in LA.
As the R&B singer was on the front row clad in an eye-catching white suit, his sulky behaviour was plain to the other stars in the first few rows and everyone at home.
Shortly afterwards, a photo of Adele and Chris Brown went viral on the internet, which appeared to show the Skyfall singer shouting at him, while the Turn Up The Music star looked upset with outstretched arms.
It was immediately alleged that the picture showed the outspoken new mum telling off the controversial RnB star for his childish behaviour and Adele was deemed a hero.
But last night the nine-time Grammy Award-winning singer jumped on Twitter to set the record straight about what she actually said to Chris.
The Someone Like You singer wrote: "Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!"
While Adele wasn’t actually telling Chris off, he has widely come under fire for his ungentlemanly behaviour at the Grammys.
A few days before the music award ceremony, the Sweet Love singer crashed his £100k Porsche sports car, claiming that it was because of reckless photographers who were pursuing him.
He’s also been back in legal trouble after it was alleged that he faked the hours of completed community service for his probation for assaulting Rihanna in 2009.
Lately it seems like there's a new Chris Brown scandal every day!
