Singer Amy Winehouse - she of the towering beehive, tattoos, smudged eyeliner and dubious polka dots - is set to launch her own fashion and beauty range, according to The Sun.
The troubled star, who won 5 gongs at the recent Grammy Awards and made her comeback at last week's BRITS after coming out or rehab, is reportedly in talks with fashion
experts with a view to recreating the Winehouse look for the masses. According to a friend, the range would include a wide range of make-up, clothing and perfume, with Amy's trademark black eyeliner
a big feature.
Forgive us, but we're not convinced it would take off...Amy's all-too-well-documented problems with drink and drug abuse have left her looking rather less than fresh of late, and she came in second on Richard Blackwell's 48th Annual Worst Dressed of 2007 list (the winner was Victoria Beckham). The style guru said of Amy: "Exploding beehives above, tacky polka-dots below, she's part '50s carhop horror."
