Brad Pitt's mother shocks with letter against gay marriage
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have vocally supported and campaigned for gay marriage, but it would seem that Brad's conservative mother Jane Pitt doesn't share their liberal opinions.
Jane has written a controversial letter to her local newspaper in Springfield, Missouri, explaining her “Christian” views on abortion and gay marriage.
She slams the current US President Barack Obama, who Brad and Angie visited in The White House in January, because he “is a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage".
Instead she urges US citizens to vote for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in the upcoming election because he's a ''family man with high morals''.
Her son Brad, 48, who's engaged to Angelina Jolie, has previously said that he wouldn't marry his actress girlfriend until homosexuals also had the right to legally wed, and he's also campaigned for gay rights alongside BFF George Clooney.
Although Brad and Angie have yet to comment on Jane’s letter, Angelina, 37, has been very open in the past about her bisexuality, which might make family dinners a little awkward!
