Katy Perry is a big fan of wearing suspiciously sparkly rings on her left hand ring finger, so it comes as no surprise that she has stepped out once again sporting some serious bling.
On Friday night, Katy went out in Los Angeles with a rather large rock on her left hand. Photographers caught a glimpse of the jewel as Katy left the club Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood after a night out with John. But, with Katy Perry, we’ve learned it's best not to jump to conclusions!
Last year, on her and John Mayer’s Valentine’s Day date, Katy wore a gold-and-ruby heart-shaped ring on that special finger, and though it was a gift from John Mayer, he had not popped the question.
Then again in November, Katy visited the European Music Awards ceremony with a gorgeous diamond ring, once again on her left hand ring finger.
This latest ring looks like a large bezel-set, oval diamond ring, and engagement ring or not, it is a serious sparkler!
It’s unclear if this new gem has any special significance, so fans will simply have to wait for an announcement, or not, from the couple.
The “Dark Horse” singer not only sported a new ring Friday night, but also a shorter new hairdo. Katy debuted the new look on Instagram earlier Friday, in a cute pic with Jiff, the adorable Pomeranian, acting and modeling dog.
It certainly looks like she is channeling her Cleopatra-inspired character from the “Dark Horse” music video, with short bangs and blunt ends. Though the crop was originally suspected to be a wig, Katy has since been seen with the same hairstyle. Is this new haircut here to stay?
