is set to host a new Channel 4 fashion
show, which would see her go behind the scenes of the clothing industry.
The 'Promise This' singer is said to be keen to front the as yet unnamed series to add another "string to her bow" in the hope of broadening her TV repertoire following her departure from 'The X Factor' judging panel earlier this year.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Cheryl is hugely passionate about fashion - it's the thing she loves most after music.
"Channel 4 is working with her on a variety of ideas as what she's interested in doing is something with a bit more depth to it than just a frivolous fashion show.
"A lot of people only see Cheryl as a pop star who had a stint on 'The X Factor' - but she has more strings to her bow and is raring to make a comeback."
Meanwhile, a Channel 4 insider confirmed network bosses are in "early" talks with the Geordie beauty.
The source explained: "We are talking to Cheryl about working together but it's early days."
After being hired and subsequently fired on the US 'X Factor' by music mogul Simon Cowell, Cheryl turned down a position on the UK version of the show.
She has since been linked to judging roles on 'The Voice' and 'Britain's Got Talent'.
