Cheryl Cole To Make US TV Debut On Glee
Glee star Jane Lynch has confirmed that the Geordie popstar will be making a cameo in an upcoming episode of the US hit musical show.
The Call My Name singer will be joining the ranks of Gwyneth Paltrow
and Ricky Martin, both of whom have proved to be very popular guest stars on Glee, with Gwyneth even winning an Emmy for her role as substitute teacher Holly Holliday.
Strangely enough, Glee
star Matthew Morrison was one of the stars of What To Expect When Your Expecting and is also a fan of Cheryl's, and according to co-star Jane it appears that he had a hand in getting Cheryl on board with Glee creator Ryan Murphy.
Jane, who plays arch-villain Sue Sylvester on the show, told the Daily Star: "There's been talk on set of Cheryl appearing for a year or so, but it's set to happen now.
"Matthew Morrison has spoken very highly of her and the younger guys on set are keen to have her on, for obvious reasons. Matthew's chatted to her and she seems keen.
"Cheryl's the perfect Glee fit, she can sing, she can dance and she looks good. It would be cool if she played herself."
