The US singer is taking a season off as a judge on The Voice, but still made an appearance at the show's Season 4 premiere screening at the TCL Chinese Theater last night.
Christina, 32, wore a little black dress for the event, which was cinched in at her waist to display her shrinking frame.
The star completed her look with a sky-high pair of Louboutins, an impressive tan and significantly less make-up than usual.
During her days as a top-selling pop star in the early 2000s, Christina was super-slim and would show off her toned body at every opportunity.
But last year Christina revealed that she felt pressure from her record label to stay slim.
Executives were reportedly worried that Christina's career would suffer back in 2002 when she started to gain weight.
Christina told Billboard magazine: "During the promotion of my album Stripped, I got tired of being a skinny, white girl. I am Ecuadorian but people felt so safe passing me off as a skinny, blue-eyed white girl.
"The next time my label saw me, I was heavier, darker and full of piercings! Let me tell you, that wasn't an easy pill for them to swallow."
But Christina's always been feisty and the Beautiful singer told them they just had to deal with her changing shape.
She continued: "I told them, ‘You are working with a fat girl. Know it now and get over it.' They need a reminder sometimes that I don't belong to them.
"It's my body. My body can't put anyone in jeopardy of not making money anymore - my body is just not on the table that way anymore.”
Once Christina's music career faded, she grew even curvier and her fluctuating weight became hot topic for the tabloids.
Despite insisting she's comfortable with her curves, it looks like the mum-of-one was keen to shed some weight.
But it wasn't her figure that Christina wanted to talk about last night - instead she decided to address rumours that she will return to The Voice for the next series.
She told reporters: "I can't say anything right now. I can only do what feels right for me in the moment, and this is why I love the show, and why I’m coming back in support."
