Imogen Thomas

Imogen Thomas became a household name when her alleged affair with Manchester United’s Ryan Giggs was uncovered last year, which left her life in tatters and made her into a public hate figure.

But it would appear that the former Celebrity Big Brother star is moving on from the scandal, as the 29-year-old has confessed that she's expecting her first child in January.

Wearing a loose navy maxi dress, Imogen announced the bombshell on TV, revealing that she's 12 weeks along and plans to raise the baby with her boyfriend of 10 months, Adam Horsley.

She told The Sun: “I can’t believe how happy I am, what happened last year was utterly horrendous.

“I never thought I would find happiness again but finding love and then falling pregnant has transformed my life.”

The soon-to-be-parents have no plans to live together or have a shot-gun wedding, but the TV presenter confessed that their love is the real deal and the baby will seal their joy.

Imogen went on to add that she's gone public with her baby news as she’s been struggling to conceal her expanding bump and growing breasts.

The Welsh glamour model is confident she's expecting a girl even though it’s too early in the pregnancy to know for sure.

She said: “I’m convinced I am having a girl because I can’t stop being sick and eating potatoes of all descriptions, my mum had the same symptoms with me.”

While she is blooming, Imogen had a terrifying scare at the six week stage after she began to bleed and needed an emergency scan to monitor the wellbeing of the baby.

Luckily everything was fine and Imogen is relieved to have made it to the 12 week mark and is happy to share her news with family and friends.

She added that she can’t wait to be a mum and is already planning a water birth in her native Wales, and hopes this will be the first of many children with Adam.
