Madonna is never afraid to make headlines, but it seems that she may be making them for all the wrong reasons on her European MDNA tour.

First the Queen of Pop came under fire for flashing her breasts, then following the shooting tragedy in Aurora she was slammed for dancing on stage with a gun.

In the latest of what has become a controversy-ridden tour, Madonna has been slammed by French fans for performing a 45 minute set after ticket holders paid in the region of 80 and 280 Euros (£62 and £219) for tickets.

Video footage of the Paris gig shows attendees booing and chanting "Remboursez!" ("We want our money back!") and "Salope!" (a derogatory term that translates as "slut" or "whore") shortly after the 53-year-old singer left the stage.

Fans reportedly felt short-changed that Madonna performed just eight songs at the intimate show, which was a last-minute addition to her tour.

Tickets to the 2,700 seat Olympia Theatre were initially offered to fan club members, and according to NME.com they sold out in less than five minutes.

The Girl Gone Wild singer’s last show in Paris on 14th July was also marred by scandal, after the singer showed a video with a superimposed swastika on the forehead of French National Front leader Marie Le Pen.

The far-right politician and her political party threatened to sue Madonna for "public insult" after the stunt.

Hopefully the Material Girl will behave when she returns to France for a gig in August...but knowing her, probably not.
