Girls Aloud officially back together and releasing new music
Making many pop fans dreams come true after months of will-they-won’t-they speculation, it's been confirmed that Girls Aloud are back together.

Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding and even Nadine Coyle appear to have put their differences aside to reunite and take another stab at the pop charts.

Girls Aloud devotees will be even more delighted to learn that the fivesome have been back in the studio to record a new comeback single, as the last time they released new music was back in 2008 with Out Of Control.

The pop starlets haven't been together since their 2009 tour and although it was always known that the ladies would be taking a hiatus from the group, initially it was only supposed to be a year.

But one year dragged out into several with no specific plans surfacing for a reunion and then in 2010 Nicola admitted that she didn’t think Girls Aloud would get back together until 2012 at the earliest.
According to The Mirror, Cheryl and the rest of the girls filmed the music video for their brand new single which proves the rumours that they are coming together to mark their 10th anniversary next month.
A source told The Mirror: “The girls recorded tracks with their long-time collaborators Xenomania as early as May this year.
“Some of them recorded their vocals separately, so they didn’t actually see each other that much during the process.
“Obviously, Nadine has been pretty estranged from the group during their time off, too.
“But on Tuesday, all five were together to film the video for their big return song, which is due out next month.
“It was the last possible opportunity they would all have to get together in time for the release, as Cheryl has been busy rehearsing for her tour and Kimberley’s training schedule for Strictly has been getting more and more intense.”
While Girls Aloud are getting back together against all odds, it would be wise not to get your hopes up about it being long term as the girls aren’t giving up their new day jobs just yet.
This weekend Kimberley is set to begin her stint on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing, while Cheryl kicks off her debut solo tour.
She wrote on Twitter yesterday: “Belfast I’m coming for you!!!!! #AMillionLightsTour Aaaaaahhh!!!!”
