Jessica Simpson reportedly gained five stone from her pregnancy.
Following the birth of daughter Maxwell in May, the reality star has been exercising and sticking to a healthy eating plan, but has found the baby weight hard to shift.
In a bid to get rid of her post-baby curves, the reality star has revealed that she’s also given up alcohol.
Since reportedly signing a $4 million deal with Weight Watchers to become the face of the weight loss programme, Jessica’s figure has been the source of much scrutiny.
The 31-year-old has had to endure photographers following her to workouts and intense speculation about her weight.
Despite the difficulties she’s going through, Jessica's been open about sharing her struggle with her 5.5 million Twitter followers.
But it seems like the television personality may have had a breakthrough by cutting out alcohol.
Jessica tweeted: “What we put in our bodies mirrors our Self-Worth! #INSPIRED."
Adding: "Responsibility has drastically changed my life. Saturday night drink of choice.... WATER! "
Several months ago, the then-heavily pregnant star revealed to ELLE magazine that curbing alcohol was a challenge at first.
She said: "Givin' up my Scotch? My Macallan 18? That was hard for me! Though now being pregnant, you crave other things. A big thing of water sounds great!"
And it seems like she has continued with her new-found abstinence, which has helped her achieve a trimmer waistline.
The new mum explained to her fans on Facebook: "[Weight Watchers] focuses on healthy habits for the long-term (and I can still indulge in my guilty pleasures every now and then, too)."
"I have actually gotten a group of friends together who are going to be doing it with me."
