The first slice sold for a staggering £1,917, so PFC Auctions will no doubt be hoping this next piece of boxed fruit cake will fetch just as much.
The sweet treat is one of the 650 pieces of wedding cake handed out at the Buckingham Palace afternoon reception last April.
The same auction is expected to also be selling a piece of cake from Prince Charles' 1981 wedding to Lady Diana Spencer and another from Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's 1986 nuptials.
A slice of original wedding cake - all said to be incredibly well preserved - from Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips' 1973 ceremony will also go up for auction.
A spokesperson for PFC Auctions said: "These slices of cake are some of the most personal items of royal memorabilia on the market.
"They offer collectors and Royal enthusiasts the chance to own a highly exclusive item from some of the most celebrated weddings in history.
"There is a vast community of Royal collectors not just in the UK, but around the globe and as such we anticipate worldwide interest in the cake."
Kate and Wills' wedding has already brought in huge amounts of money for the royal family.
The Duchess' stunning Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen bridal gown attracted no less than 626,000 visitors and made £10million in ticket sales when it was put on display at Buckingham Palace.
