Blonde Bobbi Anney made the allegations this weekend, not long after it was confirmed that The Wanted singer had split with Michelle.

Bobbi said their phone fling began in February 2011 and continued on and off until May.

The 29-year-old told the Sunday Mirror: "I knew it was wrong but the thrill of knowing he was with somebody so beautiful and still coming back to me was overpowering.

“I would often say, ‘Max, you have a girlfriend and she’s gorgeous’. He would say, ‘I know, I know’ but then send me another text.

“Phone sex was natural between us. I could literally get it at the click of a finger.

"But he would also tell me I was the love of his life and that he would always love me.”

Max, 23, and Bobbi dated for three years before ending their relationship in November 2010 - just a month before he gushed about 'awesome' and 'beautiful' Coronation Street star Michelle, 25.

Manchester boy Max hasn't addressed Bobbi's claims but they're said to have hit him hard.

A source told Metro: "He's pretty upset about the whole thing."

It was confirmed on Saturday that Michelle and Max had split, despite the actress insisting weeks ago that they were still very much in love.

But a photo of Max apparently kissing a fan was said to have been the breaking point for Michelle.

Their spokesman said: "They are not together."
