Natalie Portman gives birth to baby boy
Natalie Portman and her fiance Benjamin Millepied have welcomed a baby boy into the world.
Natalie Portman has given birth to a baby boy.
The Oscar-winning actress - who is engaged to 'Black Swan' choreographer Benjamin Millepied - has become a mother for the first time, with the couple welcoming a little boy into the world.
While no further details have yet been released, Natalie recently revealed she and Benjamin were refusing to buy anything for the baby until it was born because of her "superstitious" Jewish upbringing.
She said: "I think it's a Jewish thing to be kind of superstitious. You don't do any of the baby stuff before the baby arrives."
Despite being raised with a cautious nature, the 30-year-old star praised her own parents Avner and Shelley Hershlag throughout her pregnancy, saying she hoped to give her own offspring as good a childhood as she experienced.
Natalie said: "If I am a shadow as good a parent, an echo, then I will be the best in the world, so thank you."
