Rihanna dumped as face of Nivea due to party girl image?

company, reportedly because of her party girl image.
Stefan Heidenreich, the new head of Nivea's parent company Beiersdorf, explained that the singer was axed because her behaviour is not appropriate for the brand.
He said: “The advert starring Rihanna was a no-go. I do not understand how Nivea can be brought into association with Rihanna. Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability.’’
In reaction the Bad Gal singer has posted a series of scantily-clad sexy images on Twitter.
Squeezing her cleavage together and clutching a bucketful of an alcoholic cocktail, Rihanna unapologetically wrote alongside the photos: “Me being me”.
Clearly trying to show that she’s not bothered by the rebuff, Rihanna has been partying hard in her home country of Barbados.
The 24-year-old came back for the annual Crop Over carnival celebrations and was clearly happy to be home after spending several weeks partying on a luxury yacht off the coast of France and Italy.
Previously Rihanna had starred in a series of campaigns for Nivea, who also sponsored her Loud world tour last year.
Her hit California King Bed was used as the soundtrack to an advertisement for the brand and she also appeared in a series of print images marking Nivea’s 100th anniversary.
At the time, Nivea representative Markus Pinger said: "We are excited to have Rihanna supporting us in our celebration and building a new generation of fans."
But since then the S&M hitmaker has come under fire for her hectic partying lifestyle and increasingly wayward activities.
Back in May she was admitted to hospital for exhaustion, where she posted a picture on Twitter of her arm hooked up to an intravenous drip.
She also was blasted for publishing photos of herself throwing money at half-naked female strippers.
