And now it seems the pair's reconciliation has been proven after they were seen in a car together, in a quiet area away from the public eye.
Twitter user @CookedKitfo wrote: “Just saw Robert Pattinson driving next to me in Sherman Oaks. Yea it was that Kristen girl. Lol no. Honest to God. They were driving by my work in a residential area."
She went on to claim that Rob, 26, was "smiling" while Kristen drove them both.
Rob split from 22-year-old Kristen back in July after she confessed to cheating on him with her married Snow White And The Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, 41.
The unfaithful pair were snapped in a passionate clinch and so had no choice but to admit their wrongdoings.
Kristen immediately released an apology, but dad-of-two Rupert kept quiet.
Kristen said in a statement: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected.
"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
Rob quickly moved his things out of their LA home and Kristen disappeared from the public eye.
But weeks later, Rupert's wife Liberty Ross, 33, has reportedly moved on with a new man - while Rob has apparently taken Kristen back.
A source told The Sun On Sunday: "They pretty much decided they couldn't live without each other. "Kristen poured her heart out to Robert and told him it was a one-off and a mistake."
Kristen recently sparked rumours they'd reunited while promoting her latest film On The Road.
She said when asked about the state of their relationship: "We're going to be fine. We're totally fine."
