Victoria Beckham gets The Wanted for Romeo's 10th birthday
Victoria knew that Romeo would be over the moon to have favourite band The Wanted appear, so she went all out to make sure they were special guests on his big day.
A source told The Sun: “Victoria has some handy connections with the band and it wasn’t hard to get them along.
“The lads are in the States anyway preparing for the MTV VMAS on Thursday and were happy to pop over.
“They met all Romeo’s pals and posed for snaps. It’s the easiest gig they’ve ever had.”
Obviously loving being the best mum ever, the former Spice Girl was keen to show The Wanted how appreciative she was of them taking the time out to swing by the party.
She tweeted the group: “The @thewantedmusic boys, the coolest boys in music!!! Thank you for making Romeo’s 10th birthday so special!!!! X vb.”
Romeo and his brothers Brooklyn and Cruz have struck up a friendship with the boybanders - Tom Parker, Max George, Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuiness - after hanging out together in David’s box to watch LA Galaxy games.
The young heartthrobs have also become close pals of Victoria and David, with Victoria admitting to US Glamour magazine: “They taught my son Brooklyn to play guitar!”
The 38-year-old wasn’t shy about singing their praises earlier in the month when guest-editing US Glamour, adding: “I have a soft spot for The Wanted — they’re a great British export and such nice guys.”
That wasn’t Romeo’s only surprise on his big day, as his dad also let the birthday boy dress up as LA Galaxy’s mascot in their 2-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps - a game in which his old man scored from a free kick.
The Beckhams certainly win the prize for best celebrity parents ever!
