She's the face of Coco Mademoiselle, so why not make the most of those contacts? Keira Knightley managed to get Chanel to do her make-up on the set of new flick The Duchess, in which she plays the Duchess of Devonshire.
Everything from the lights, costume and decor on Saul Dibb's period piece had to match the style of the 18th century. Chanel created a delicate pale complexion for Keira (pale faces were a mark of elegance and distinction) using beige Lift Lumière and rosy porcelain doll cheeks with Joues Contrast blusher. Her eyes were made up with Ombre Essentielle shadow, Exceptionnel brown mascara and eyebrow pencil in Brun. Her pout shimmered with Rouge Hydrabase lipstick.
