We're more used to seeing Keira strut her stuff for Chanel than champion causes, but at the tender age of 23, the Atonement actress has become an ambassador for Amnesty International.
Keira is lending her glamourous face to a huge human rights advertising campaign that Amnesty is launching for its 60th anniversary. She appears holding a "Protect the Human" sign in the campaign, which features a host of celebrities quoting the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
"I wanted to be part of this film for Amnesty to help raise awareness of the UDHR and to help them, in a small way, to campaign against the abuses of human rights that are still happening every day," Keira told press.
"It seems that 'human rights' has become a bit of a loaded term in this country, but if you look at the declaration that countries made 60 years ago, it just sets out a series of basic rules about how people should treat each other."
