 Gamila Secret Herbal Skincare Bars are produced in an ancient Druze village called Pqi’in in the hills of Galilee where hundreds of herbs and plants grow in abundance. Savta Gamila, now an iconic figure in Israel, dedicated her time experimenting with the nature Pqi’in had to offer and after 40 years of research Savta and her family utilised the healing powers of the herbs to create a natural herbal alternative to modern soap.
The bars contain 15 healing herbs, shea butter, 80% pure virgin olive oil and a selection of other therapeutic natural oils and are traditionally handmade. Once the herbs and olive oil are blended, the mixture is stirred and boiled for 40 - 60 hours, left to harden for an initial 30-60 hours, cut and stamped by hand and then left to fully harden for a period of 3-6 months.
You can use them in the shower, bath, as a face mask or as a salve for damaged skin.
