Amy Winehouse 'to model at London Fashion Week'

According to the fashion grapevine, we're going to see Amy Winehouse strutting her stuff on the runway at London Fashion Week in September for the legendary Julien Macdonald. The famed designer says: "She's an amazing talent...she's an incredible person, who is just very unique and has a great style. She is just so different."  

Amy's appearance on the podiums would certainly ruffle a few feathers. Fashion critics are aghast at the thought of the tattooed, beehived singer, who has well-documented problems with drink and drugs, modelling at the prestigious fashion show. One critic said: "It's unbelievable. When you look at her, she's a wreck, wandering the streets in torn clothes. She tries to work Fifties style, but that's all she does and it just looks awful. And there's nothing chic about being drunk and mouthing off in public." Ouch. Fashion guru Mr Blackwell, who compiles the Worst Dressed List, placed Amy at #2 in 2007. "Exploding beehives above, tacky polka-dots below, she's part '50s carhop horror," he said.
