H&M, everyone's favourite Swedish brand (yes, we even prefer them to IKEA) is getting in on the organic trend big time! This autumn, even their basic tees will be made from organic cotton, while other conscious choices of materials coming in include organic wool, recycled wool and polyester. "We’re proud that we’re able to meet increased interest from our customers and at the same time contribute to the increased demand for organically grown cotton," says H&M Head of Design Ann-Sofie Johansson.
In stores this autumn, expect: tops, dresses and bodysuits in solid colours or with patterns from nature inspired by art; organic and recycled wool coats, kimono jackets, jodhpur style trousers, tulip skirts and knitted jumpers; organic jeans and recycled polyester anoraks; and organic cotton undies and nightwear.
Almost makes you want summer to be over...
