Want to know what are the key flavour trends across Europe this year are? According to a survey by Schwartz, exotic sweet and spice combos such as chilli and cocoa and fresh fruit and herb/spice combos such as green mango and chilli are in vogue in our kitchens.


The trend for fusion cuisine that blends ingredients from different ethnic regions together is attributed to world heritage cooking, the lure of the exotic and the interest in cooking from scratch. With more and more chefs are turning to the world’s oldest cuisines, adopting authentic cooking methods, techniques and fresh ingredients, expect to see more of these exciting flavours cropping up!
