Claire Danes is the new face of Gucci

The lovely Claire Danes (star of Romeo and Juliet and Stardust) has signed up to model Gucci's new jewellery collection. 

Claire replaces Drew Barrymore as the face of Gucci fine jewellery. Her ad campaign - out now - was shot by taletnted photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. 

Creative Director Frida Giannini said Calire is " very natural, fresh, and has a carefree attitude which can also be seen in the roles she has chosen."
