New York pays hommage to Louboutin

From 13th March to 19th April, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) is paying homage to the talents of one Christian Louboutin by hosting a special exhibition in his honour, à la Yves Saint Laurent.

The exhibition, which is organised by fashion students at FIT, charts Louboutin's career and displays the wackiest and the chicest of his coveted red-soled creations, with archive pairs like the Pansy from 1994 (donated to FIT in 1999) and new creations like the Arielle Clou from Christian's autumn/winter 2007/2008 collection.
