Once your kid has told you that they are being cyber bullied and you have both spoken about it, you should tell them not to reply.

Although your child might be tempted to retaliate against these horrible messages, it can make things a lot worse.

"Often replying means that things escalate," says Sue. "These bullies are hiding behind their phones, so what they say can get really mean," she adds.
