Fun activities for kids: Keep it cheap this summer holiday

School holidays should mean lots of quality time spent with the little angels - but for many parents six weeks can seem like a really long time to fill with fun activities for kids...

We know we're right about this one, just take a look at the stats: 80% of parents see the big summer break as a green light for hassle, pressure and stress and 42% of parents reckon the summer holidays are too long**.

Surely this isn't right? There must be a way to fill the days with fun activities without stress?

Sure, there are lots of fun activities for kids, but they can cost an arm and a leg. In fact, 80% of parents fork out nearly £500 on extra childcare and entertainment over the school holidays*** - ouch!

But don't despair. We have come up with some fun activities for kids to do - and guess what, they're either really cheap, or totally free!
