You remember his name. You know, that guy you're supposed to be meeting. It was John. No, Joe. Or was it James?

A poor memory can lead to some pretty embarassing situations (those 'Happy Belated Birthday' cards are never ideal!) - not to mention the more serious effects it can have on your life.

But don't worry, because there are ways to make sure things stick in your memory and we've asked the experts to share their easy tips and tricks.

So who better to ask than Dominic O'Brien, an eight time world memory champion renowned for the fantastic feat of memorizing a sequence of 2808 randomly shuffled playing cards? 

That's exactly what we did. Dominic currently works for Peak Performance Training and he's written many books on memory, including his most recent, You Can Have An Amazing Memory.
