She's famed for her gorgeous Geordie smile and perfect pores so it's no wonder Cheryl Cole has landed her first ever skincare campaign for L'Oreal Paris. We're used to seeing her glossed up and glamorous with tresses styled to the nines but this time round Cheryl's laying it bare. Fresh faced and foundation free? Talk about throwing you in at the deep end, hey Chez?

Cheryl Cole is a pro when it comes to beauty campaigns, having already ticked Elnett, Casting Creme Gloss and True Match Foundation off her L'Oreal list.

The flawless brunette is adding another string to her beauty bow now that's she's just landed her first ever skincare campaign for L'Oreal Paris.

Far from her perfectly coiffed X Factor days, Cheryl has gone stripped back with minimal make-up and low key locks for her latest advert.

Ditching her bouffant hair and forgetting her foundation, the Call My Name singer shows off a whole never seen before look.

She looks totally at ease as she delivers take after take of flawless natural shots and at one point takes hold of the camera herself for a stripped-back selfie. Oh now who's the bare-faced boss?

Speaking of her first skincare campaign with the French brand she said: "I thought I would be nervous or apprehensive to not be able to wear foundation on a shoot, but it’s actually been quite liberating to have the freckles out in full force.

"Skin Perfection works to perfect your skin – it tightens pores, gives luminosity & improves skin texture. It has all the skincare benefits you want before you put on your makeup," she adds.

The former Girls Aloud admits that she's never really cared about skincare before and has never been worried about wrinkles.

She said: "Skincare had never really felt like something that I've wanted to do before. Especially wrinkle creams and that kind of thing - they never really felt right for me.

"I wasn't really at time in my life when I was really feeling that way. But this is a great product for me as it's more about preparing your skin before you reach that stage."

When she looks this good, we're all tempted to say farewell foundation hello bare faced beauty.

Congrats Chez! You're one skincare hot shot.

L’Oréal Paris Skin Perfection Skincare is available nationwide from Monday 5th August.
