What aids are used during psychic readings?

Cards are the main aid for psychics e.g. tarot cards such as the tarot of Marseilles, spot cards and many other games through which the psychic can read into you.

Keeping some distance with the psychic

The psychic shouldn't be friends with the person they're giving the reading to, they should maintain a distance with the client so they can continue to provide an accurate psychic reading.

If they get too close to the client's intimate thoughts and emotions, they will no longer be able to see for him (just like a therapist), making psychic readings a waste of money.
