Who asked who? Does it matter?
If he asks you out, a good rule of thumb is that if he looks nervous or vulnerable, it means he likes you enough to step out of his comfort zone and take a punt.
"I always get butterflies when I ask someone out," says Terry. "Though I always really like them, so maybe that’s why."
If a man swans over and coolly asks you to dinner, you have to ask yourself: why he’s so calm? Has he done this thousand’s of times before (in which case, why is he still single?)? Is he not terrified that you might say no (so therefore he isn’t bothered either way)?
If you asked him out, did he look happy? Or did he look proud?
A man who prides himself on girls falling for him is, for want of a better phrase, an utter tool. Avoid. But if he looked you in the eye and seemed genuinely affected, you’re off to a good start.
