How to spot him:
Impeccable dress-sense, never a hair out of place, back-issues of GQ stacked in the bathroom. Should be hard to miss, as he’ll be making a conscious effort to stand out…

What to get him:
Unless you boast an encyclopaedic knowledge of men’s fashion, it might be wise to steer clear of major items of clothing (shirts, suits, jackets etc) as he’ll probably be picky to a fault. Play safe with bags, scarves, or things for his flat.

Ideal Present:
Lunch at the Ivy, or indeed any swanky London eatery. Not for the food you understand, but the posing opportunity.

Worst Present:
Socks. None of us want to receive them at the best of times, but buying this blandest of gifts for a man who’s turned on by style is just asking for trouble.
