Sausage and bean pie |

Ingredients :
2 thick pork sausages per person
3 tins of baked beans
4 or 5 large potatoes
1 egg
Splash of milk
Knob of butter/margarine
Recipe :
1-Preheat oven to gas mark 5 and peel and chop potatoes.
2- Put chopped potatoes into a large pan of boiled water and cook for 20-30 mins unti soft enough to make into a smooth mash
3-Drain potatoes and then add butter, mash the potatoes until smooth and then add the milk and mix into the potatoes.
4-Cook the sausages under the grill and when they are done, cut them into chunks.
5-Put the sausages into a large casserole dish and pour the three tins of beans over the sausages.
6. Finally carefully spoon the mash over the beans and sausgaes as a topping and glaze with a little bit of the egg.
7-Put the dish in the oven and the pie will be ready when it is brown on top.
